62 Teachers Felicitated to Bolster "Innovative" Teaching Techniques Among Teachers
Tutors Pride, a private tutorial for online resource is all set to felicitate 62 of its teachers on 2nd Oct. Out of the 62 teachers to be felicitated, forty belong to the list of teachers awarded as "noble professionals" by the Telangana Government lately. Rest twenty teachers belonged to the private sector and varied teaching professions, as told by Dr Ankam, the Operations head of Tutors Pride and also the founder of Ideal Teaching Awards.
The teachers entailing labels of several illustrious Universities/Colleges with them: Dr Shobhana, Associate Professor of Political Sciences and Vice-Principal of Sarojini Naidu Vanita Maha Vidyalaya; Dr K Venkateswara Rao, Professor of Nano Technology, Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University; Professor CVV Subramanyam, who teaches Jyotisha-Vastu at Potti Sreeramulu Telugu University and T Joseph Christadoss, Lecturer at St Mary's College, Yousufguda and others.
Approximately 20 educators will also be rendered honour. These teachers include: S. Gopalakrishnan, Chairman,Bharatiya Vidya Bhavan; CBR Prasad, Chief of Sports Academy; Dr. M.S. Farooque, Dean of NIMRA Institute of Medical Sciences; T. Surender Singh, NIS Taekwondo Coach; Krish S. Radhakrishna, Personality Development Trainer; NNSS Mohan Rao of Surya Krishna Tutorials; Jessy Guntupalli, Yoga Teacher etc and others.
Teachers from Zila Parishad High Schools, Physical Education Teachers, Musical Education, Medical Education, Physical Fitness, Taekwondo, Social Service, Soft skills trainer, Personality Development, Dance and several other skills will also be awarded.
Dr Ankam said that they have hand-picked teachers, coaches, trainers, fitness experts and mentors who have acquired novel and innovative teaching techniques. He further said that this award is not so much for the teachers as individuals as for their unique and inspiring approach to teaching.
Dr Ankam tells that some of the common techniques adopted by the selected teachers are through brainstorming, by utilizing Audio and Visual tools, creative teaching etc. Moreover, connecting learning to real-life situations, by conducting outbound classes, by role plays, Storyboard Teaching, teaching by a way of story-telling and much more are some of the methodologies these teachers have acquired to make learning more interesting.
Dr Ankam said such teaching techniques prove to be more interesting than the pedantic approach which grabs a student's attention for a longer period of time. He further added that the quest for innovators in teaching will go on and he will keep bringing them under a single roof every year.
